Hello, and welcome to Writetopia! On this page I would like to help published and unpublished authors to reach their writing goals by giving them the tools to turn writing into a business, making it not just a utopia, but an achievable Writetopia 🙂
I have been writing stories since I was six years old. Writing has been a part of my life, a part of me basically, and I cannot imagine my life without writing. The pen – or the laptop keyboard – becomes an extension of me once the words start flowing out. Throughout my life though, I have gone through different writing and publishing stages.
Stage 1: my work is “not good enough”, so I wrote for myself
Stage 2: “I want to live of my writing. I’ll contact publishers.” But … oh, that was a little harder than it seemed
Stage 3: I discovered vanity publishers – no, too expensive
Stage 4: I discovered indie publishing. Love it! Great!
Stage 5: Writers need to market their work, have a presence on social media, do lots of promotional work to get noticed, and it is not easy.
So, how could I turn my writing into business? It is not a question of being good or bad, a born or a made writer. If you’re a writer, then you are a writer, it is as simple as that. What is not so simple, is to get yourself noticed. You may be the new Hemingway in the making, but if no one knows about you, this new Hemingway will sit at his desk, stare at the screen, and wonder when someone will buy his book.
WHY I WANT TO HELP WRITERS
I discovered a way to finance my writing. While I still haven’t gotten my books noticed online, I am getting there. Reviews are coming, so that’s a wonderful thing. What to do in the meantime though?
Many writers have a day time job – some love their work and others hate it. What if you could use your writing skills and make money with them? I am not talking about writing books. I am talking about blogging and affiliate marketing. The most important skill you need for that is writing, and writers definitely have that skill.
What if I show you how to use writing for marketing, how to insert affiliate links, find the right keywords, optimize your SEO, and help you get traffic to your website? All of that will eventually bring you an income. Yes, it takes time, dedication, a lot of writing (no problem there, right?), research, and the will not to give up. Persistence pays of, and if you keep at it, affiliate marketing for writers will also reward you. I can give you all the tools and knowledge you need.
It’s working for me. Let me help make it work for you.
THE GOAL OF WRITETOPIA
So, the purpose of Writetopia is to empower writers to make an independent income, doing what they love the most, WRITING. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme; time, patience, and hard work are required, combined with the willingness to learn. If I can do it, you can do it. You do not need to be an internet wiz to create the perfect blog.
Affiliate marketing works. And the system I use is legit and proven to work. There are so many scams out there which give affiliate marketing a bad name, hurting affiliate marketers and companies, but you are here now, on the right page. You are here now, and you can make the decision to get a true and honest affiliate training. I’m a writer, like you, and I have had a hard time getting my books noticed, like you (or most of you). I have also learned everything there is to know about affiliate marketing and blogging, and I would love to help out my fellow writers and pass on the lessons I have learned.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
